Suburban SW6DEA 23L hot water heater   gas/electric  (Auto electronic ignition)

The Suburban SW6DEA 23L hot water has an anode rod which absorbs all the corrosive action within the hot water heater and prolongs the life of the unit. The anode is located at the base of the hot water heater under the main burner. To replace the anode simply turn off the unit, drain the tank and unscrew the anode. If the anode is severely corroded it should be replaced.
